Getting Started

The path from a fresh deployment to a working fleet, step by step.

The path from a fresh deployment to a working fleet:

  1. Sign in. First-run accounts are created by an admin under Users, or via SSO if Google/Microsoft SSO is configured in Settings.
  2. Add your first server. Go to Infrastructure → Servers, click "Add Server", and either paste an existing SSH key or generate one — the new key becomes that server's management key.
  3. Verify the connection. Open Terminal, select the server, and confirm a shell opens. The host key fingerprint is pinned on first connect.
  4. Bring in network gear. Under Network Devices, add routers/switches/APs — SNMP fetch pulls vendor/model automatically, even for devices like MikroTik that don't expose it the "normal" way.
  5. Set up Vault + Keys. Store shared credentials (Wi-Fi passwords, service accounts, license keys) in Vault; manage which SSH keys are assigned to which servers under Keys.
  6. Turn on monitoring. Metrics collection is on by default (5-minute interval) once a server is added — no separate step needed.
  7. Configure integrations. AI provider keys, Telegram alerts, and feature toggles all live in Settings.
