Prerequisites
sudo apt update
sudo apt install python3 python3-venv python3-pip nodejs npmAllow the app to manage services without a password prompt:

1. Clone the repository
mkdir -p /opt/pycon
cd /opt/pycon
git clone https://github.com/vandet91/pycon.git .2. Install backend dependencies
cd /opt/pycon/backend
python3 -m venv venv
venv/bin/pip install -r requirements.txt3. Configure environment
Copy the example and fill in your values — see Configuration for details.
cp /opt/pycon/backend/.env.example /opt/pycon/backend/.env
nano /opt/pycon/backend/.env4. Build the frontend
Set NEXT_PUBLIC_API_URL before building — it is baked in at compile time.
cd /opt/pycon/frontend
echo "NEXT_PUBLIC_API_URL=http://YOUR_SERVER_IP:8000" > .env.local
npm install
npm run build
