Settings
System, branding, shop, POS, notifications, staff, and security configuration.
All configuration is under Settings in the sidebar. Changes take effect immediately or on Save depending on the tab.

| System | Normal vs. Advanced mode (Advanced unlocks Inventory in the sidebar) |
| Branding | Shop name and logo — emoji or image upload (max 1 MB). Logo changes propagate instantly across the app without a reload. |
| Shop | Shop name, phone, address, tax rate (%), USD exchange rate, open/close times, receipt footer text |
| POS | Auto-print, customer display, require table number, split payment, loyalty points per order, rounding rules, default payment method, VIP and takeaway discount amounts |
| Notifications | Toggles for: low stock alert, daily summary, AI insights digest, peak-hour alert, expiry warning, new order notification |
| Staff | Add, edit, and deactivate staff accounts. Set role (Manager / Cashier / Barista), 4-digit PIN, and optional password. |

Staff PINs — PINs are stored in local storage — they are not hashed or encrypted. Treat them as convenience codes, not security credentials. For shared devices, use the password field for stronger access control.
