Install & Run

The app ships with a bundled deps/ folder (scapy, zeroconf, manuf, ifaddr) as an offline fallback, but installing the real packages gives you raw-socket ARP scanning, which is faster and more accurate than the ping-sweep fallback.

#    scanner falls back to a ping sweep + OS ARP cache)

Privilege requirement — Scapy's ARP scan needs raw sockets, which means Administrator on Windows or root on Linux/macOS. Running unprivileged still works — the scanner silently drops to ping + ARP-cache discovery — but you'll miss quiet hosts that don't answer ICMP.
